How time flies...

But not because I have been having fun . Although, I should qualify that by saying I have had some fun.

First, the news on the maternal parental unit. Since July, my poor mother has been in and out of hospital 5 times and has been home for a total of 32 days only.

She was last home on the 24th of October and I went away to Georgia on the 27th. She ( Read more... )

Yeah, I pretty much disown my family ;)

I wish I'd seen the baby tiger 'in person', but the stock picture will have to do. :)

Cheers!

Nothing says - thanks sis for looking after our mum all this time - than an empty bank account and wretched, frustrating silence. BASTARD! So, he's steeping in and doing it all properly is he? Yeah, I know all about him, well, that's all I really need to know isn't it? I hope he's going to care and visit, it's not as though you can pop over daily is it? Oh, wait, is he one of those idiots that thinks it's a lot further for him to travel than it will be for you? In that imaginary car you have...

Ack!

Anyway, those are some lovely photos, but what a way to spoil a holiday.

**hugs**

*hugs* I knew you would get it - I don't have a car! I think Mum is going to miss me for a while - although I in no way mean I am the grand 'I am'. As far as I can tell, this place is about 3 miles from his house, so we'll see how often she gets visitors, considering there are now 7 adults nearby, all but one can drive.

I'm sorry to hear you have an ass for a brother too, but it also comforts me to know that other people know what I am talking about. Honestly, it's because he is so useless in communication and practical things that this happening and his only way of feeling 'useful' is to go in like the proverbial bull(shitter) in a china shop.

Glad you saw the photos - it is interesting for me as I knew little about the Civil war.

Now that that you mention it, I remember seeing that movie in William Shatner's bio many a time. Now it has context.

A lot of the issue is men being insensitive and also not wanting a woman to make the decisions. And the older ladies of the family always defend the boy

You're so right! My brother being the emotionally constipated rat bastard he is *channelling Jack here* can only 'do' as opposed to support emotionally.
