SERIOUSLY. They better not ever do that to him. I have, like, strong character-based reasons for believing that Billy is the most adorable sleepy person ever. BECAUSE HE IS ALWAYS HALF-ASLEEP. AND SO NOT AWARE OF HIS SURROUNDINGS ENOUGH TO MAKE A CONSCIOUS EFFORT NOT TO BE ADORABLE. AND THUS ACCIDENTALLY IS RIDICULOUS AND ADORABLE WHERE HE USUALLY MANAGS TO AVOID THAT (in his humble opinion).

THIS. This this this thisthis. I have always been convinced of this characterization point and THIS IS THE BEST EVER EXPLANATION AS TO WHY.

He is like a kitty. A kitty that has fallen so deep asleep that you can pick up its little legs and when you let go they just flop back down all limp-like. It is completely hilarious but also the cutest thing ever.

Any panel that ever contradicts this is going to be excised from my comic books with a bowie knife, seriously, Riko. THE HEADCANON MUST STAND.
