((People on Flist who are in high school, please do not take any offense to this. I merely wish to rant about these kids that I saw today and that is all >.>)

I've seen just as many college kids and adults do that as high-schoolers. But I agree that it is annoying.

$100 for a PS2? I could have sworn I saw them for $60 sometime around Thanksgiving.

It's just, irritating for anyone to do it >.> And the least they could do is apologize or be polite afterward.

Dude, I think I'd be all over a $60 system, cause that's awesome in comparison to the $200 PS3 XD Especially since there are a ton of games for the PS2 still. But are you sure it wasn't a Black Friday deal or something? o.O?

How's the vacation by the way? :D Are you home now?

It might have been a Black Friday sale since it was around Thanksgiving. I can't remember exactly when I saw it. However, I'm surprised that they aren't cheaper. Usually I would suggest "buy a used one", but PS2's aren't very durable... If you're unlucky, you might get one that was abused in its former life.

I'm back at college now, and classes start tomorrow. I somehow managed to catch a cold, and now I'm having flu-like symptoms. Fun times...

Really? I haven't heard of their durability all that much :S But yeah, I'm not really too keen on getting a used one because of the modding and tampering that could be done unless it's someone I know and they can tell me the honest truth about it XD

Awww, that stinks D: I hope you feel better. Being sick and at school stinks >.

Ugh, I'm in highschool and I agree with you totally. Some people just get in their little groups and block the whole damn sidewalk/hallway. They even ignore me when I ask to be excused for pushing them out of my way.

I once paraded directly through a crowd of babbling ninth graders, who told me to "watch it, biddy". Biddy is the term for an eighth grader, which I guess they assumed I was because I'm so short. I told them I graduated in a year, and they promptly backed off.

And god, I get how you feel about games being expensive and whatever. I want to finished the Assassin's Creed series, buy Batman: Arkham Asylum, finally play Bioshock (just in time for the sequel, woo), buy both HG and SS on release day (ordering soon!) and save for Okamiden, finish KH: days, get BBS, and I don't even know anymore.

I'm trading in my FF games next time I go to EB, and I'll buy City of Heroes/ Villains if it's there. Dammit, maybe Batman too.

You're trading in your Final Fantasy games? ;__;

I can never bring myself to trade in games. Partially because I only get a fraction of what the game is worth, but mostly because I still like to go back and play old games.

I have like four of them, and never got into them. I never usually trade games, but I sort of want Batman more than FF. I still have my favorite game from the original playstation, I usually keep all my games. xD

Heh, sounds like me. I bought one of the versions for the DS and kind of got stuck in it/couldn't really get into it too much. The most I liked about it was the pretty opening Square makes everything look so gorgeous OMG T.T

I usually keep my games too, but have started selling some that I don't play too much and aren't all that interested in anymore online cause I might get a better deal than trading it in to stupid money-hogging EB XD;;
