((People on Flist who are in high school, please do not take any offense to this. I merely wish to rant about these kids that I saw today and that is all >.>)
Ugh, I'm in highschool and I agree with you totally. Some people just get in their little groups and block the whole damn sidewalk/hallway. They even ignore me when I ask to be excused for pushing them out of my way.
I once paraded directly through a crowd of babbling ninth graders, who told me to "watch it, biddy". Biddy is the term for an eighth grader, which I guess they assumed I was because I'm so short. I told them I graduated in a year, and they promptly backed off.
And god, I get how you feel about games being expensive and whatever. I want to finished the Assassin's Creed series, buy Batman: Arkham Asylum, finally play Bioshock (just in time for the sequel, woo), buy both HG and SS on release day (ordering soon!) and save for Okamiden, finish KH: days, get BBS, and I don't even know anymore.
I'm trading in my FF games next time I go to EB, and I'll buy City of Heroes/ Villains if it's there. Dammit, maybe Batman too.
I can never bring myself to trade in games. Partially because I only get a fraction of what the game is worth, but mostly because I still like to go back and play old games.
I have like four of them, and never got into them. I never usually trade games, but I sort of want Batman more than FF. I still have my favorite game from the original playstation, I usually keep all my games. xD
Heh, sounds like me. I bought one of the versions for the DS and kind of got stuck in it/couldn't really get into it too much. The most I liked about it was the pretty opening Square makes everything look so gorgeous OMG T.T
I usually keep my games too, but have started selling some that I don't play too much and aren't all that interested in anymore online cause I might get a better deal than trading it in to stupid money-hogging EB XD;;
Argh, the worst in high school for me was people standing in or in front of doorways just talking when you're trying to get to class in a busy stairwell. That was a guarantee to piss me off >.>
I has never heard of 'Biddy' before, probably cause I would never get called that EVER, but I've never heard a friend be called that either. ^^;;
Well, the only next-gen system I have is a Wii, even though I've wanted a PS3 for a while since it's release too (and because of KH now, I guess I should have dropped the $600 I didn't actually have for a first release system XD). I do kind of like the price point for most good Wii and DS games, cause in comparison they tend to be around $10-20 cheaper than Xbox or PS3 releases
