He is not stealing - he is retrieving... At least he is too pottery to stand on his hind legs and nick stuff off the work surfaces.

I grew up with collie crosses, so I had the foolish impression that retrieving was about bringing stuff back rather than making little treasure troves of sponges, paintbrushes and credit card bills. But after all, Ruggie is a Golden Retriever so presumably is an expert on the subject :-D

Ah, but nicking things out of the waste paper basket is just his well-meaning attempt to be green. "Reduce, retrieve, recycle." That's how it goes, right?

I guess a treasure trove created by a Golden Retriever should be called a Golden Hoard..?
