Firebreathing dragon cake!

It was philmophlegm's birthday yesterday.   I thought it would be nice to make him a birthday cake.  And then I thought, would it not be even nicer to make him a cake that was a GOLDEN FIRE DRAGON???

Excellent dragon cake! I wish I'd come across that firework thingy when shopping for decorations for the Lego cake. It would have been the perfect addition to the bald Dark Lord's popping candy volcano.

I thought that when I saw it! It came in a pack of three, so I now have two further explosive cakes to plan...

Admittedly, it's not such a good dragon as the gold roof-dragon in your photo, but it is almost certainly a better cake. :-D

Two out of the three 40th birthday cakes I've seen this year have involved dragons. From this I conclude that two thirds of all 40th birthday cakes in the land involve dragons, so it shouldn't be that hard to set up the contest.
