Nashville is only about 250 miles from Atlanta. What do you consider one-day driving range? Or did you move and I forgot/didn't hear?

well, its more of an issue of "one day" driving range in a go somewhere and do stuff and then come back in one day.
250 miles x 2 =500/50 mph avg= 10 hours.

You really go 50 on the interstate? Even accepting that you can't usually go fast through Atlanta, if you average 65 (the normal speed limit), that cuts the travel time to about 7h40m. Of course, even a 10 hour total drive would still leave you at least four hours or so to enjoy whatever on a normal sleep schedule.
I semi-routinely drive from Mobile to Baltimore and back, roughly a 2000 mile round trip.
