Oh, this is such a wonderful concept and so well realised. I love how you don't shy away from all the wrongness of this, you approach it head on and you let Seb approach it head on, and yet you show this other side too, how it all started, the affection between them, the bond. I love how it isn't all hot, sexy sex, there's this edge to it, how there's no romance, how they almost feed off that wrongness. But then I love the end, the throw back and acknowledgement to when Seb was little and Mark looked after him, and I love how neither of them shy away from that. It's a different part of what they share. All the conflict between how they are as brothers and how they are as lovers and how the two things aren't really separate because they never can be, and all of Seb's doubts and insecurities about what they're doing. It's such a wonderfully layered piece and I think you judge it perfectly. Really great job.

thank you so much oh gosh ;A; with the whole gap in between their relationship, where they have to pick up after so many years from the time they left off, i just. things change and people change, and i just feel that more than romantic love, mark would feel guilty towards seb? about leaving even though he said he wouldn't and stuff? and i guess love for him as a brother may just lead mark towards doing all this for him even if he isn't exactly into it (but there's still the sexual attraction even though his brain is screaming WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG) and at the end of the day yeah, romance isn't exactly on the cards! um yeah i think i've rambled enough, i'll shut up now orz /slinks away

thank you so much oh gosh /cries and clings to you i'm glad it felt balanced to you - it's wrong because incest but right at the same time because seb feels like mark's perfect for him, yet this isn't exactly right when this mark he's seeing is like a construct and not the real mark, it's the brother he has been dreaming of and mark is basically changing himself to fit seb's mould of him as a perfect brother because it's what he feels like he should do ;A; err yeah idk if this makes sense i hope it does orz

it sounds awful but yeah i guess step-siblings does seem a little like "cheating" when you're writing incest fic - not blood related so in the end you can marry and everything! i'm glad i went with proper siblings in the end too, otherwise i couldn't write the whole "so wrong but it feels right but it's not exactly right because it's fifty shades of fucked up" thing orz anyway thank you so much!!! ;A;
