yeah that's it! it's like. all these years he has been filling the void with a fantasy, and now mark is back seb doesn't really know what to make of it? on one hand mark definitely isn't the ~ideal lover~ seb thinks of him as, but at the same time, i think mark recognises that he has to find a way to make it up to seb for all the years he has missed with him if he wants to repair their relationship. so there's a whole 'am i going to be who i am or am i going to be what he thinks i am and wants me to be' problem, and the easy way out to solve things is definitely the latter option imo. so yeah, that's how it all spirals into rubbish and i just. uh yeah i'll shut up now i've rambled enough /cries
