CHANGE OF PLAN just sanji and elicia for a bit |Db asobouyo June 18 2011, 07:46:09 UTC
[It's a nice day to go outside, and an even nicer day to visit the lakes and whatnot. And after a relatively calm time the two make their way back, Elicia just a curious and excitable leap and run in front of Sanji.

But unfortunately, when she walks into the next clearing, just as she presses through the bent thicket-Sanji probably not too far behind-she doesn't find a squirrel to watch scamper up a tree. She finds one lying limp on the ground. Followed by a bird... and a lot more things she doesn't care walk toward for an actual view.

She takes a terrified step back, voice really low, but she can't seem to get her eyes away from the scene to run back to the chef.]

... The birdy.... and all the...

[The blonde watches the other quietly as the blade rips itself away from his side. She continues like this, knowing full-well that she won't need much effort after that last wound.

Once again, she aims the blade; this time, it's directed for Sanji's heart.

Hate herself later? With how much she despises this world, it shouldn't come as a shock that it's already too late for that.]

Disappear. [SANJIIIIIII]

[Normally Nami might yell out her attack in true shounen fashion, but in this case she'll make an exception. And there's no indecision here whatsoever. Hi, Kusanagi. Have a lightning bolt hit you from the side, knocking you clean away from the man on the ground.

Stay the fuck away from her crew.]

[Good job, Nami. She was too focused on Sanji to even expect it.

She's flung away by the force of it with a cry of pain, and like last time? She'll be immobilized for a few moments. Here's your chance!]

[Hell, Sanji didn't expect that.

Nami-saaaaaaaaan. ;; You came for him! No surprises there, but that he's suddenly not as dead as he thought he'd be is both a heavy shock and an elation to the bleeding and bloodied cook, enough that he finally topples over.

Which could also be due to that blood loss and a punctured stomach. But eh, small details. He can't die now that Nami went out of her way to save his ass, and he takes relief in that.

Shit, but he's sorry anyway about this -- not doing his shitty job. Just... keep her busy for now? He'll catch up later, promise, is what he thinks at her, and then closes his eyes]

[What Nami's thinking is how she's going to stop Sanji from bleeding to death and keep Mu occupied at the same time. Answer is simple: she can't.

So first things first. She shifts her gaze away from her chef's injuries and focuses on Mu instead, face pale. Heck, if she can do this right maybe she'll have the solution to all their problems.

Step #2: Do your best to piss off the Godslayer. 8| Have a grin.]

Hey, Noel. Before you pick another fight, maybe you should finish the first one. Unless you've remembered me after all?

[...you.

She remembers you, alright. But perhaps not in the fondest light.

Kusanagi will deal with Sanji later. :|]

...adjusting target priority.

[Look, don't dis the tried and true tactic, woman. It's working, isn't it? B|

More seriously, she's hoping the impressive amount of trees out here will at least give her a chance; Nami'll keep as many of them between her and Mu at the same time. The aim of the game is leading her as far away from Sanji and Elicia as possible.

In a perfect world, she'd get you all the way to the tunnels. But ...well. For now, let's work on not getting slaughtered. Baby steps and all.]

[She has her ways, Nami. She has her ways.

Do you remember those annoying little orbs? She still has them, and a dozen to boot. Don't get hit!]

[She'll try dammit. Don't start any forest fires with those things DX But in this case, with cover and a better idea of what to expect, Nami gets lucky with a few very, very close calls; one hits an arm (the same one as before, no less) but it's a glancing blow. On the other hand, her luck can't hold out.

...well, she'll get as far as possible away before she tries some more widescale distraction. Worst case scenario, it's far better that Mu takes out Nami instead of Sanji and Elicia. But... she won't let it get that far if she can help it.

...boy, this isn't familiar at all.]

[Familiar or not, the Murakumo isn't going to relent; not until Nami is in her grasp and dealt with accordingly. It should be no surprise that a second Murakumo would find her to be an annoyance. Also interfering and all that jazz. >:|

Run, run, as fast as you can. Kusanagi won't be tiring out--it's like she's flying over, remember?]

[It's all good! Nami's an old pro at this running away stuff. It'll be a while before she tires herself, though she's not entirely at top form-- the blood loss earlier is making itself a little felt.

But she hasn't fallen yet. And she has contingency plans. But when a few moments go past without a follow up attack, she wonders if she can hope for making it all the way to the plaza without dying.]

[You know.

This is really just a waste of Kusanagi's time. Was this really just some sort of bait to get away from that man? No matter. She would make sure by the end of this that Nami gets out of her hair once and for all.

So instead of taking the time to catch up, her distortion will take care of that.
