First Person: I haven't slept for about four days. At least not a full night--I drift off for ten minutes at a time, maybe twenty--an hour once, but I woke up in a cold sweat with the sensation of free fall in my stomach. I've always hated heights, and I'm sure only the urgency of the situation compelled me to jump from that crumbling building. I'm not sure I could do it again.

But I can't ignore this other feeling--the accomplishment, even triumph, taking root in my chest. We did it. I did it. I built three complex and individual worlds for us to use, and they'd been flawless. If my professors could've seen--well, no, they can't, because technically what we did was illegal. I've been brushing away the shame of my law-breaking with the satisfaction of my success, but I feel the anticipation of the consequences lurking there. How will it unfold?
