First Person: I haven't slept for about four days. At least not a full night--I drift off for ten minutes at a time, maybe twenty--an hour once, but I woke up in a cold sweat with the sensation of free fall in my stomach. I've always hated heights, and I'm sure only the urgency of the situation compelled me to jump from that crumbling building. I'm not sure I could do it again.

But I can't ignore this other feeling--the accomplishment, even triumph, taking root in my chest. We did it. I did it. I built three complex and individual worlds for us to use, and they'd been flawless. If my professors could've seen--well, no, they can't, because technically what we did was illegal. I've been brushing away the shame of my law-breaking with the satisfaction of my success, but I feel the anticipation of the consequences lurking there. How will it unfold? The thoughts of that crept in on me the first night--would this benefit anyone other than Saito? Maybe we made a terrible mistake. Arthur told me secretly that he was against the idea at the start--that he told Cobb to walk away. Does he still feel that way? There's almost nothing I hate more than waiting, and now that's all that I can do.
Third Person: Ariadne was descending the stairs. She wasn't sure how she got there, but she knew where she was going. She'd designed this place, after all. It was a curving, elegant stair, a lot like the one in her grandparent's old house, all white marble like the foyer, with a thick oriental stair rug in shades of red and cream. She'd always wanted to slide down the banister, but she chickened out every time she lifted a leg over. But this wasn't a house--this was a country club with wide windows looking out at the pool and dark wood furnishings in the sunny lobby. Ariadne looked down and ran her hands over her yellow sundress. This was not a typical outfit, but this was an event: she was meeting someone for lunch. Suddenly she was seated at the table, picking at her caesar salad. Her lunch partner was a projection of her high school art teacher--a frizzy-haired lady with a weak chin but a warm smile. she never understood why Ariadne had chosen architecture over fine art--"You have so much creativity! You don't have to follow the rules of the real world in order to make things you love!" Ariadne smiled at her salad and shook her head. How true those words were.

►Just For Fun

What's your totem? Go on, you can tell us. A key--small, easy to personalize, and symbolic of entry into a new place.
Who is your favorite Inception character and why? I identify heavily with Ariadne--I'm an artist myself, and I have very similar tendencies to pry (as Ariadne did with Cobb) when I feel I can help someone or offer them advice or options they may not be aware of. I also adore Eames, for his insight into people's personalities and psyches, and for his plain old awesomeness.
If you could go into your dreams and (re)create any setting, what would it be and why? I would love to build myself an apartment for my fiance and I that would fit out every need! Gorgeous view, spacious, but not too big, beautifully decorated, urban but not cramped. Maybe not even int he USA! We re-met in Florence, Italy...maybe overlooking the Arno River? Maybe I would carve the apartment out of the rumored hidden tunnels of the Ponte Vecchio?

We're sorry, but we received several applications for Ariadne and could only accept one. If you would like to apply for another character please feel free to do so, but for now the role of Ariadne is filled.

Thank you for your time and consideration!
