He led her way through the menu of simple, rustic local food, influenced by Italian cuisine, from the roasted artichoke drenched in olive oil and garlic, to the creamy clam chowder, to a pasta dish filled with seafood, ending with a shared large bowl of tiramisu, all accompanied by local wine.

I'm one of those people who panics if she doesn't have something to read every single moment, so I decided to give that to Bill. Besides, he looks sexy with glasses down on his nose.
I'm not sure why I see Laura as territorial, since she was a secret lover woman with Adar, but I have to agree, there's something about her knocking off other women that just works for me.
Glad you appreciated the plot. Always have to toss some of that in...But we'll look forward to some plotless bits, eh?

Yes, but she did not love Adar. (I don't buy fics that insist that she did at some point) It's very different with Bill (in canon and here) because she truly does love him, she just can't articulate it.

I'm glad the flashback technique worked. That can get confusing, but I like to move things forward while filling in details from the past. Otherwise, we're going to be here for 100 chapters! (Yeah, I know, I know...)
I just adore that Bill's already writing little fanfics in his head. "And the waiter thinks we're married and you have me whipped..."

I was just wondering today of we'd see another chapter soon. This was so beautiful. I could picture everything so clearly. Especially the scene on the beach with the seals barking. I can't wait for the next chapter.
