LOL! After the apocalypse, all that would survive is gossip, so I had to toss that in.

Loved this. I have such a weakness for seeing the two of them through another person's eyes, and I really liked your original character.

Will Adama's revelation at the end to Nikko come back to haunt him? Just curious.

I love writing OC's; I've got a couple different OC stories on my 'to write' list, you know, in my spare time ( ... )

Another great one! Like tjonesy, I love seeing their relationship through other people's eyes, and you definitely don't disappoint. Also, I was so thrilled to see a gift shop reference, because it's one of my favorite random lines in the mini. :D

The gift shop reference really skated close to parody, IMO, but I still loved the idea. But the museum is still there, right? From Razor, so that Adama can stare soulfully at the Old Skool Cylon in its glass case. HEH!

It's so fun to write OC's; almost like being a real writer! ;)

Loved your story but, then again, I love all your stories. I have to laugh about forcing yourself to watch Black Market. I have watched the whole series about 10 times all except for Black Market. I never bother. It's so boring and irrelevant and the whole Lee story line makes absolutely no sense. So I'm pleased that I'm not the only one who never bothers with that episode and, therefore, obviously, I can't remember this scene either. I also rarely watch "Scar" or "The Passage" either. Boring fill in eps.

I dutifully popped Black Market in, now I want to kick Baltar in the nuts again. I absolutely hate setups where male characters stand around talking about bitches on the rag and when will they lighten up? Lucky for Fisk, he's dead quick enough, so that just leaves Baltar for my HATE. There are some interesting moments, but yeah, overall, massive suck.

Scar is so awful I can't even think of any moment in it, but Passage at least has the fabo EJO moment at the end with the dying Kat.

Oh, and thanks for the props!

Am I the only one that ever questioned though why there was all that heartache to get to the algae planet, then when the cylons arrive the fleet just jumped away - no issues???

You mean how we never saw them take that damn algae off the surface? I think because it was more important to watch the Quad of Doom fuss and fume? I just saw it being loaded into big containters, but don't remember it being taken off the surface.

Or was that planet was in the middle of some space thingie, but then the fleet just sauntered off? I'm not a big one for all the space thingies, and I sense RDM wasn't either, since the characters are able to breath on nearly every planet they go to, and they never encounter an alien species, not even a mean little bug or anything. And they call it a sci-fi show!

this is brilliant! so clever, and so well-written. The dialogue was just great, really snappy. I too like seeing A/R through 3rd party eyes.

Yes!!

I'm always glad to hear a reader enjoyed my dialogue; I love writing it! It's hard with a man of few words, though. ;)

Thanks for reading!
