Can you believe that more than twenty years after the show first aired numerous fanfics are still being written and published? Yay! I can second your rec of Versheenah's fic (I found it witty and sweet in addition to what you said), and I'm looking forward to the ones I haven't read! \o/
"And Be One Traveller" was originally posted in 2018, but I see why you'd think otherwise since the AO3 work doesn't mention this.

Aaaaarrrrrggghhh - I knew it was posted on Seasonal Spuffy but I thought it was an entry of this year's Spring round and didn't check. Grrrr.....
