Five Classic Spuffy Smut Fics (That I didn't write)
I tend to be off playing in my own sandbox and don't bandwagon well, so I sometimes enjoy very different fics than everyone else, to the point I've been exasperatedly asked: well, don't you like ANY older fics? Well of course I do!! And I thought I'd start with some of my favorite NC-17 ones! All links are EF, which requires registration to read explicit material. And this is just a little taste- there's a lot more i enjoy...maybe I'll have to do part 2.
1. Only Time Will Tell by damperandspoons
Why I like it: Who doesn't like a time-traveling historical romance? Buffy has to go back to Victorian London and of course ends up boinking William. Dear god I love a good sex-in-a-carriage scene. Damperandspoons is also always so much fun. Her writing is playful and easy to read and you know everything will be wonderful in the end!
Excerpt: She licked her lips and wiggled to the edge of the small carriage seat, panting when his eyes raked over the thin cotton drawers that he’d pushed up from her knees to her thighs. “This is inappropriate.” She smiled, spreading her legs wider for him.
2. Not My Reality by dawnofme
Why I like it: This is an AH AU with a Bachelor-like reality show setting. It's so much freaking fun. Angel is the "bachelor", a lot of the Buffy-verse ladies are there vying for him, and Spike is one of the cameramen. This one makes me smile and giggle the whole way through. Not as explicit as some of my other recs but there still are excellent sexy times.
Excerpt: "So, you want to get naked, do you?" Spike teased.
3. Love Like Fire by Addie Logan
Why I like it: Buffy gets a lot less inhibited with the help of a little magic and OF COURSE the first person she runs to is Spike. They have a blast and there's a HEA after a tiny bit of angst post spell-breakage. I really enjoy that both Angel and Riley get Spuffy shoved in their face. Or nose, in Angel's case.
Excerpt: Spike knew there was a good chance that if they kept this up, he could wreck the car. On the other hand, they were two superbeings in a very sturdy car. He grabbed the back of her head and pushed her down.
4. All Over It by NautiBitz
Why I like it: Would this list be even remotely complete without NautiBitz on it? I'm really fond of "boink-or-die" stories and this one is totally my kind of catnip. There a demon to stop! Spike is still evil (it's S3)! Giles absolutely knows what's going on (in his bed)!
Excerpt: Buffy collected herself. The sooner this was over, the better. "Hurry up, open your pants."
5. Prisoners of Love, Blue Skies Above by bewildered
Why I like it: this was the very first explicit Spuffy story I ever read. I'm not sure if it's going to be a permanent WIP, but the first part is so enjoyable and exciting I can't help but rec it! Spike's in trouble with the law after a bender and Buffy has to help him out while pretending to be married to him. It's hot and funny, two of my favorite things!
Excerpt: She leaned in closer, whispering so close to his ear that he could feel her hot breath. “I’ve been thinking about it, you know. What you’ll taste like. What you’ll feel like, on my tongue and in my mouth. How deep I’ll be able to take you. I’ve been thinking that yes, you probably would like some nibbling, because you do have a thing about teeth, don’t you? Perhaps some licking. Maybe even some sucking. I’ve spent hours now wondering just what you would enjoy most, what delicious sounds you’re going to make when I finally have you where I want you."
