Early or Later Seasons?

There seems to be a split in the fandom over which half of the series that people like the most. Some people like the early seasons more with the old school scoobies while others like the later seasons when the show gets more serious.Which do you prefer

I like the middle seasons actually. Season 3-5 are my favourites.

Those seasons are the funniest to rewatch. They have some great stand alone episodes like Superstar and villains like the Mayor.

Same here. Those three are the best.

I like both because it shows the progression of the characters and their stories and how the show has evolved since it first started out. Opinions vary on quality and how certain directions went, particularly with S6 and S7, however overall I like it all.

My favorite seasons are 2, 4, & 6, though I can't actually rank them any more than that. All seasons have great episodes, but I like the character developments in those seasons the best. I find season 5 darker than season 6, which I suspect is a minority opinion. I'm not sure why depression harder for people to deal with than death...

One of my favorite seasons is Season Three. Yet, I tend to prefer the later seasons.

I think every single season is the best season. And also the worst season. They're all just a bit different, and overall, they make an awesome whole.
