Early or Later Seasons?

There seems to be a split in the fandom over which half of the series that people like the most. Some people like the early seasons more with the old school scoobies while others like the later seasons when the show gets more serious.Which do you prefer

My favourites are 2 & 3 (and that's partially because I have a lot of fond childhood memories tied to those years) but I really like both the early and later years. I don't really get the divide to be honest, and I even love the comics too. The only season I really have trouble liking is S7 so I guess overall I'm pretty easy to please!

I agree about Scooby moments! The core four and their friendship was what really got me into the show.
