Favorite ep.: Fool for Love

Favorite season: Five

Angel spin-off: Better than your average TV show. I don't quite like it as much as I like Buffy but that's because I've never really liked Angel. I watch Angel for the other characters, like Wes, Fred, and Gunn.

Outside reading: a good portion of the articles at Slayage, the Rhonda Wilcox book, and a few others. (I read them for fun at the beginning of the year and they've sort of blended together.)

Favorite Ep: (like so many...it's hard to nail it down to just one)...but my kneejerk reaction is The Zeppo.

Favorite Season: Five. It just seemed more epic.

Angel spin-off: Meh. Never cared for Cordelia, and was never sucked in by the other characters like I was with Willow, Xander, Giles et al. And I hate Wesley with the fire of a thousand suns....though that's most likely because Alyson Hannigan was supposed to marry me.

I hated Wesley in Buffy. But by about Season 2/3 of Angel he had become my favourite character!

Yeah, The Zeppo is SO AWESOME! I think it plays beautifully against the moment in 7 when Xander has his little speech to Dawn and calles her extraordinary.

Favourite season? 4, maybe 6.

Feelings about the Angel spin-off? Eh, it's ok, but never pulled me in as much. I think I just tend to prefer female-driven shows/movies.

Have you done any further reading on Buffy? I took a class called Writing About Buffy my freshman year of undergrad and one of our required texts was Fighting the Forces: What's at Stake in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Florida State University. They have all sorts of freshmen level writing courses. Writing about Tolkien, Harry Potter, Star Trek, etc. It all depends on what the GAs teaching the classes want to talk about. Buffy was only offered two semesters and I was lucky enough to catch it.

Angel Spin-off: I liked it even more than Buffy, probably because Angel is my favorite Buffyverse character.
