Lily, the little one, was adopted from China. So we're related, but not by blood. She's my cousin.
And the other two are not family at all. They are in America going to college as part of a foreign exchange thingy. They are from China too. My aunt and uncle (Lily's parents) are sponsoring one of them. They don't live there, but they spend time with them and teach them American customs and stuff like that. They invited her and her friend to come to Thanksgiving dinner with us.
