Yeah. As it is now, I leave her home for 10 minutes or so at a time if I want to run to Walgreens or something, and it always makes me nervous. At least now I know I can't get arrested for it!

LOL. Exactly. Christine is saying she'll probably let Danielle stay home alone after school too at that point, so Casey was saying how they could ride their bikes home together. Then I said "Maybe you can hang out together while you wait for us to get home... oh wait. BAD IDEA." Because we all know that 2 kids are 100X more likely to get in trouble than 1! They encourage each other. It's that darn peer pressure.

When I was 11, I stayed by myself after school until my mom got home. 6th grade was the first year she let me do it. I even babysat some.

I remember staying home without my parents when I was 11 too. But I had a 14 year old brother who was usually there too. I started babysitting at 12.
