For that matter, how are there any UNvaccinated people still alive?
Perhaps the answer to both questions can be found in realizing that people didn't react to the vaccine- and/or the virus- the same, because each person is different.
I think the gist of the paragraphs in the OP is that all that legal, administrative, and social bullying/coercion/etc was not based on a solid foundation of logic and reason.
...and while not every person who took the shot is dead, many may have nonetheless consigned themselves to an early grave:
The very same people calling anyone they don't like nazis were the one snitching on their friends, family and neighbors while cheering on sending the unvaxxed to concentration camps.
