You know I remember seeing those kinds of books years ago in the states. Except this book involved stuff from the beginning of the season (including Ash's first gym battle, Pikachu revolts, and the Crystal Onix). Once again, I did not get it since I was a closet case.
Yeah, I know...but I just watched some eps to tide me over while I was feeling a bit sick...couldn't watch too many, so I'd made certain not to watch something to be continued in the next episode.
While the ep with Hikou made me cry when Chichiri was crying, I couldn't stop laughing at the Fushigi Akugi segment...especially the "Ishida-kun" one and Mitsukake's. XD
I'm getting the boxsets soon, so I can then watch from start to finish.
Although Eikouden crosses four episodes (2 novels) and the OVA 2 covers...er...six or seven (5 Manga volumes I think), so I'm not sure any of it can be seen as one-off scenes.
(That said, I suppose there is the horrific monstrosity that is the first OVA...if you can stand more than 20 minutes of that in one sitting you're doing well XD Not something I'd recommend if you're under the weather though!)
I'm not sure if knowing all the ending stuff before you watch the beginning through ruins the show or makes it better, cos I watched it from start to finish and didn't really know much other than who died and when when I began :S
...Have you seen the Hot Springs omake? ^_^ Even if it isn't as classic as the manga segment it replaces, it's still the funniest Yuugi thing ever ^_^ XD
I'm the type of person who doesn't mind spoilers, and I kind of feel a bit better knowing what's meant to happen.
Yes, and I adore it! Nuriko reminds me of me in the car...won't stop singing! And I absolutely love the "text-message" scene (hehe, Kakaka the Homo). Chiriko makes such a pretty girl, I'm jealous, he's prettier than me! XD; (And he's the same height as I am too...)
