What Luck!!
Hey there, everyone! How are you all? Good? I hope so... I'm a teensy bit sick myself right now, but it'll pass...
The other day, I was the Reject Shop again, and I noticed a Pokemon picture book on a sale table. I had a look because I was certain the image I saw on the back was a small picture of Ash, Misty, Tracey, Pikachu and Togepi on Lapras' back...and I was right! The book was the only Orange Islands adventure to have been adapted as a picture book...A Shipful Of Shivers (the one with a trophy, a ship and the guardians of the trophy Gastly and Haunter). It was only $1 and since I had the money, I'm a Tracey fangirl and it was unavailable elsewhere (everywhere I looked, even in Melbourne!) I bought it. Ah, I am so happy~! It's just like when Pa got me Pokemon colouring books for Christmas because they had small images of Tracey and came with magnets of Togepi, Marill, Scyther and Venonat.
Yesterday, Tash and I celebrated the 5th anniversary of the day we met and became friends. We first went tenpin bowling (I won), then after walking around and catching up with a couple of my friends, we had lunch at a cafe Tash used to work at. We then went to the Discovery Centre (a hands-on science exhibit centre with a vertical slide) and then caught a bus out to Kangaroo Flat. I was meant to meet Dad, but he never showed up. Tash and I then hurried across the road to try to catch the bus (which it turned out wasn't going back into town) and I fell over...I was fortunate the car slowed down and that I regained my bearings quick enough to crawl the last couple of feet...kids, that's why you must never run across the road! After that hiccup, we had dinner at the pub (I had spaghetti bolognaise and Tash had lamb, chips and gravy) and then went back to her place. Later today, we're going to see Journey To The Centre Of The Earth with her younger brother.
I've been watching some Fushigi Yuugi this morning, I love it! Nuriko's reincarnation (a small girl named Ko Reishun) is just so adorable~! And so is Shu Eian (Hotohori's reincarnation), and man, does Boushin look so much like his father!! The ep I'm loading now is from OVA 2..it focuses on Chichiri's past with Hikou.
