Ellen Tigh benefits from the inherent sexiness of being a Cylon and suddenly oozes with sensuality, winning the heart of our wayward Boomer.
Some personal observations:
It's a different show without Gaeta. Did anyone else feel that? His was such a reliable and comforting presence I took for granted. I was a bit bothered by the lack of any reaction from any character in the wake of his execution. Not a bit. Very. Was anyone close to him besides Baltar? Or Dee? Damn, that kid lost everything and no one gives a frak. Speaking of Gaius, only main character not in this episode. *grumpy face*
The implication that Kara is the 7th Cylon also bothers me. But not because she's a Cylon, but because she used to be a male Cylon but for "John" altering her genetic make-up. If this is the case it just shits me that her attitude, her general tomboyish nature, her asskicking instincts and her mad combat skills are only because she was originally male.
This may not be the case. If Ellen had some affection for this model, the only other characters she's had any sort of bond with have been Bill, Lee and Zarek. Maybe the genetic tampering Ellen is talking about has something to do with Zarek's destructive impulses and compulsion to assume power. John made Daniel into something she would abhor.
But then what is Kara? Ehhh...
Lighter note, Saul is the cutest thing ever.
Also, I'm hoping for some Ellen/Boomer fics out of this episode. *looks pointedly at the comm*
