Oh, so they *shagged*! :D Too cool.

This was very well done. I heard their voices clearly and it's a great explanation for his not going with the President (I had a feeling that was the reason ;).

It's funny how Dee considers herself so much older than Billy although they're the same age. What's that about girls maturing faster? LOL

Thanks--it was my gut reaction to his refusal to go with Roslin. I mean, he can give all the noble reasons he wants, but seriously? He's a guy. He's clearly gone on a girl. 2+2=4.

Girls mature faster? Let's try a sort of general "girls mature period" and leave it at that. ;) Billy's such an idealist, though, and it's really refreshing. He might make some bad decisions, and he might take advantage of people like the corporal, but overall, he means well.

Great story! I love your Dee POV, we definitely don't get to see enough of her on the show. Love the way you fleshed out the Dee/Billy relationship, too, and I'm not even a shipper for them. Excellent fic altogether.

I agree completely. I like how she's been getting more screen time recently, though--it's nice to see her character developed more fully.
