When Ellen announces she's found the key, she wants a celebration. It's a beautiful day so they head outside. Saul and Ellen have the booze, of course, and Galen buys a ridiculously expensive basket of early season figs. Sam has his guitar and he plays silly songs he makes up on the spot. The songs get worse as he gets drunker until he's singing something about the fruit trees and failing to find a word that rhymes with orange

I love this! With the line about Saul and Ellen having the booze, "of course," and the ridiculously expensive figs. I want to draw hearts around Sam making up songs and drunkenly trying to rhyme with orange.

This took my breath away. You make Tory so likable and tragically hopeful, even with knowing what's to come. Wonderful little details and makes me want to know more about that life on that Earth. And I can really see her and Galen in this.

So much love for this. I already like Tory, but I absolutely love this side of her. And this is all hopeful and painful all at the same time. Just beautiful.
