When Ellen announces she's found the key, she wants a celebration. It's a beautiful day so they head outside. Saul and Ellen have the booze, of course, and Galen buys a ridiculously expensive basket of early season figs. Sam has his guitar and he plays silly songs he makes up on the spot. The songs get worse as he gets drunker until he's singing something about the fruit trees and failing to find a word that rhymes with orange

She hasn't told anybody about finding (burning) her body. Maybe if she had, Helo wouldn't leave, accusing her of boozing and bitching. She's here and Hera's not.
Whiskey swirls her brain, clouds her senses. Anger replaces surprise, and she slams her glass down with enough force that it shatters. "I broke a glass," she hears herself announce, half-hearted, like she hasn't already attracted attention. The wet pieces littering the table sparkle silver in the overhead light.
She's sorry Helo's in pain. She's sorry about Hera.
(She's sorry about Sam.)
Whatever it means, she's sorry she's the harbinger of death.
I'm so fascinated by Hera's memories. She had such a complicated life in the short time we knew her, and she clearly had access to mental abilities most toddlers don't.
Oh goodness - what a lovely (sad) introspective look to Laura. I love the little backstories that flesh out the woman we knew, especially the sleepless child sneaking through her parents' house. Just beautiful!
