lol Lowell frogs. I'd make an "OMG JESSI'S BLACK BUT WE STILL LOVE HER" joke, but it would come out sounding really cliche/stupid.

my boyfriend's name is jared & that subway sandwich guy is the bane of his existence. my jared used to be a tour guide on the double decker buses in philadelphia, & sometimes he would use a fake name because whenever he used his real name, some smart aleck would be all, "wow, that subway diet really works, hur hur," or whatever. i, however, always associated that name with troubled olde-thyme people & when i remembered this book, i knew why that was. this book was my first exppsure to that name.
