a ...diamond ring...for a 13 year old? who would either outgrow it or lose it? wth. Props to Mom McGill on saying NO.

Heck, I am 33 and the only diamond *I* have I got 2 years ago (my mom gave my my grandmother's wedding set) and you can bet your heinie I take good care of it!

And I knew about blood diamonds early on, so before this book, fo shizzle.

Haha. In malls I still hang out at the pet store because clothing stores are boring. Kittens, puppies, baby turtles etc. are cuter than endless racks of clothes that all look the same.

Isn't 13 a little old to be the I Want stage?

I think this is only Stacey's first year at being 13. I hear they grow out of that pesky "I want" stage in in second or third year of 13.

it always annoyed me how no matter who the narrator was, kristy always got the most description out of all the club members. we go through her personality, her past, all the members of her family, and the freakin' PETS. ann clearly favored kristy.
