I’m not sure I understand; isn’t Karen supposed to be one of Stoneybrook’s many brilliant blondes and able to understand that a different teacher may mean a different way of doing things?--Been awhile since I've read that book/read a snark for that book but wasn't it a case of Hoffman getting onto Karen instead of letting her get away with everything? That sounds like something either Claudia or Abby would say . . . for some reason the Elvis bit is really familiar, I must have read that one recently :p--*nod* It was in a recent snark about Abby suggesting Elvis was in the Civil War. Maybe Abby was daydreaming about Leave it to Beaver on the days they covered the Civil War? lol, I still can't wrap my head around that one.

i'm really enjoying this snark!! :D i can't wait for the rest. i've never read this book before, but i was actually getting chills when karen was being rational and logical when she was talking to david michael. it's so weird when she makes perfect sense. LOL. funny that the one book where she ISN'T being a selfish, spoiled little brat, she finally gets called out for being one--but since it doesn't fucking apply so she can just shake it off. maddening! ann certainly loves to fuck with our heads!
