hey guys!
i don't think this will be finished before the 25th, but damn it, i'm going to try my best. i finally have a few weeks of freedom from dentists, doctors and the vet, so i'll have more time to write. yay!

I have impossibly straight, long hair, as well, unless the humidity rises then it goes to waves. Then Gods face shone upon me and I learned how easy and trouble free a messy bun is.

In the later years of the TV series, I always thought Mal's hair looked really nice.

ETA: One of our closest neighbors has a girl my kids age, and she's got the CUTEST hair. It's thick, so curly it's almost kinked and kinda goes wherever it wants. She can do anything with it, and it's adorable and fits her spunky, happy personality like a glove.

See, it doesn't work that way. Tax laws and stuff. He can't just hand over a check without collecting info like SSN of recipient. And he doesn't have to give it back if the Pikes don't agree.

Prize money counts as income. So taxes would have to be collected. In 2000, federal law required prize money in the amount of $1200 and over have tax information collected, and amounts under that were on the honor system. It would have been the same or lower before that. So whichever adult was going to be the recipient would have to provide ID and social security information, and if it's split, it would be evenly, and still over the threshold.
