Yeesh! Sorry so late on this! I was having some pretty bad medical problems. My old doctor had the absolute worst staff with so little compassion, they didn't even say sorry while I was having a complete mental breakdown. I just pictured the Pikes complaining that they didn't want pancakes and Mary Anne and Mallory ordering pizza instead of telling them to eat what they cooked or starve. I've never tried making pancakes from scratch. But I could make scrambled eggs.

*Just made up. There was a Mr. Food but he died not that long ago. The Mr. Food website is still up and there's probably some pancake recipes on there but I'm not sure if there's one listed under the title I made up.

i just have no clue how to do html code for links (or even lj cuts!) anymore. lol. obviously been away from lj tooooo long. but the site is allrecipes (dot com) if you search pancakes there are a lot of good recipes. :)

i need to learn how to use lj again. lol.

aww, i'm sorry to hear you've been having such a rough time. i've totally been there - on the doctor front as well. some of them should have to do sensitivity training, REPEATEDLY. good luck finding a new one, by the way! i hope you don't have to wait too long&that you start feeling better soon.

excellent snark by the way! i think the dawn chapter at the end made me laugh the most. i love when you hate on her.

I was about to say that I imagined Mallory telling her parents that they had to resort to cannibalism because there was no food in the house, then I remembered that Mallory would have been the first one eaten.

I wish you were in my area. I could hook you up with doctors who genuinely give a damn about people.

DM yells that it is snowing and everyone runs to the windows. Bart says he'd better head home but Elizabeth nixes it.

Snow starting to sprinkle doesn't get that kind of response on the east coast unless you are expecting a blizzard yet no one there expects a blizzard no matter what the news says. Bart could have gone home.

They have dessert and something that was always weird for me is that the have store bought pie and they heat in in the microwave. Aren't pies usually on tins?
