Snowbound! Part 3!

Jan 26, 2015 16:47

Yeesh! Sorry so late on this! I was having some pretty bad medical problems. My old doctor had the absolute worst staff with so little compassion, they didn't even say sorry while I was having a complete mental breakdown. So, I finally washed my hands of them and am currently looking for a new doctor. And since I was practically huddled in a corner ( Read more... )

I just pictured the Pikes complaining that they didn't want pancakes and Mary Anne and Mallory ordering pizza instead of telling them to eat what they cooked or starve. I've never tried making pancakes from scratch. But I could make scrambled eggs.

Maybe there's a way to bypass it? Like say Mr. Food 'Easiest Pancake Ever"*

*Just made up. There was a Mr. Food but he died not that long ago. The Mr. Food website is still up and there's probably some pancake recipes on there but I'm not sure if there's one listed under the title I made up.

i just have no clue how to do html code for links (or even lj cuts!) anymore. lol. obviously been away from lj tooooo long. but the site is allrecipes (dot com) if you search pancakes there are a lot of good recipes. :)

i need to learn how to use lj again. lol.

lol, same here! I was on the Falco community and I wanted to post some pictures and it took me a couple of tries before I got everything right. And to be fair I had to go to my profile and get the codes off the pics in my profile in order to get it right. So yeah, I'm just flat out not really familiar with the site as well as I was when I was younger.

Thanks for the website and I'll check it out. :)

good to know i'm not alone! lol.

&you are welcome! so many recipes there&people can review the recipes other people put up&add their own ideas/changes, it's pretty awesome. there's a pumpkin spice latte recipe there as well! i've been using that site for years now, cheaper than buying a ton of cookbooks. lol. :)

lol, definitely not! I guess that's the one good thing about the Falco community being so quiet is I had plenty of time to fix everything before anybody (?*) possibly saw it ( ... )

hake out the part before the www, and in place of the dots, write DOT. People can figure it out from there. :)

*nod* I believe that has happened before in another book. Mallory tried to warn the other sitter that they need to stick with one menu because it'll take all day if you even change one thing about the menu. And yeah, Mallory was right because that's what happened.

I'm a firm believer in 'You eat what's made or you starve'. Because really if you were that hungry, you'll eat the damned pancakes. I swear the adults in Stoneybrook cater to their kids way too much.

i totally agree. it's really no wonder the majority of kids in stoneybrook are such brats when the parents cater to their every whim. not saying no to your kid every once in awhile, spoiling the living daylights out of them, etc, really does the children a huge disservice in the long run. they aren't prepared for reality, they don't know how to function in the real world where you DON'T always get what you want&there are consequences for your actions, you have to be responsible for yourself&so on. i've known adults who were raised like some of the kids in stoneybrook&it's NOT nice for them when reality starts kickin' in.
