Claudia Kishi, Middle School Dropout (11-15)

Aug 25, 2014 00:28

I wasn't gonna do this tonight. But my bro fell asleep in a Skype call and I have nothing else to do tonight, so I might as well finish this.

The rest of this book is very Halloweeny. (: I'm in a major Halloween mood so it's going to make me happy, even though Claudia acts like a total prat in these chapters.

Because anything that isn't a ~grown-up dance~ is BABYISH, that's why! )

claudia, explain to me how this is a big deal, claudia wangst, endless hateful claudia-bashing, 13 is the bestest best age ever, halloween, mal and jessi are buttmonkeys, #101 claudia kishi middle school dropout, claudia is a brat, bitchiness

continues to refer to them all as babyish and dorky

Damn. What does she think about sixth graders Mal and Jessi? Also, what a bitch.

Okay. on Jessi's 'costume' I'm assuming she's wearing one of her actual ballet costumes which what? 1) Shouldn't that belong to the theatre? 2) Isn't that massively expensive? and 3) Is she gonna wear her toe shoes or what?

This is a COUPLES COSTUME.

Yeah...I'm super close to my bestie but even I would draw the line at that. Though I do want to do a kuroi/shiroi matchy Lolita dress up with her. But that's not a costume.

Ah, I see we share the same feelings about Halloween. I love love love Halloween! I never get to go out and do fun things but I love dressin up and handing out candy. It's the one day of the year where I adore kids. Claudia can take her bitchy attitude and stuff into her soon to be toothless mouth.

When I took dance classes, our costumes were given to us and did not belong to the theater. We had to purchase them for the showcase, and then since we bought them, they were ours forever. I guess Jessi's costume was one of those type of deals.

......I started getting more into Halloween AFTER I was ten. I discovered horror movies, and X-E (now Dinosaur Dracula)'s Halloween countdown, and I get to eat candy while a parade of cute kids stops by my house, and I can sew my own costumes! :D And this year I'm volunteering at real, live haunted house! :D I also love trunk or truck at my Church, plus we have a Dia De Los Muertos celebration. And...and...right now I'm planning my Halloween decorating budget and I'll be doing themed crafts all the way up to Oct 31!!!

And was your Venus costume...Sailor Venus? I don't think I'll have a chance this year since I don't have time to make a costume this late in the year. But yeah, dressing up as a Sailor Senshi (Pluto?) is a dream I WILL fulfill in 2015! :D

And I want to punch Claudia for worrying so much about being "babyish". I just enjoy life and fuck you if someone thinks I'm being immature. I gotta love my life because I'm the one living it! :)

No it was the Roman goddess Venus/Greek goddess Aphrodite. My best friend didn't like it because "Venus is a WHORE" xD But I felt so pretty.

Claudia is a prat in the second half of this book. I hate people who bitch and whine about "ooooh that's CHILDISH" and I'm hearing it a lot ever since I entered my 20s. >_> The most FUN things are childish and, like Claudia, all these people want to do for fun is party because "that's what adults are supposed to do for fun" (except since we're in our 20s, they also add "drinking and fucking" to the list of adult-approved fun). I've pretty much accepted that I'm never going to fit in with these people anymore, but at least what I get up to is a lot more fun, and are what *I* believe is enjoyable at any age. (:

That is actually even cooler! :D I've always wanted to do a Hathor costume (Egyptian Goddess of love and happiness) because I have the hair for it, lol. Plus the headdress. *sigh* I need more places to wear costumes. I have so many ideas ( ... )

So glad to hear that those are what parties are like in the 30s. I'm still fresh into my 20s and I was fearing it would ALWAYS be this way with the whole "Drinking is love drinking is life" thing. x.x

she uses them as status symbols and still continues to refer to them all as babyish and dorky.--Classy. Are we sure the ghostwriter didn't swap Claudia and Stacey's personalities for this book ( ... )

And now she doesn’t even care about doing well in school, and she’s all set to go back to fucking up her education yet again when she was given a brand-new chance ... - Well, her parents gave in and let her go back to Stoneybrook Elementary when she got depressed attending Stamford Alternative Academy, so maybe she thinks the uncaring attitude will get her what she wants again ...

Enjoyable snark, anyway! :D
