I like how Kristy thinks herself to be the best babysitter ever yet doesnt see the problem with videotaping a kid falling, laughing about it, and then showing it to a bunch of other people who will laugh...
I don't currently have an lj but I am a faithful reader of bsc_snark and I wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed this snark! I think it's your best one yet. Can't wait to read the rest. :) When I was in high school I was the director of our school's news show. It wasn't a particularly exciting job. Anyway, as far as I'm concerned the best student submitted segments were the ones that didn't take themselves too seriously. I think a zombie movie is a great idea for them to do. Much better than a documentary. I'm one of the few (err, only) Kristy fans out there, but who did she expect her audience would be? Not to mention that when people have a camera pointed at them and are told to "act natural" they act anything but. Tell a kid that you want to film him doing or saying funny things and it's even worse. Fail, Kristy, major fail. ~Thistleberry
Stacey was Mrs. Darling in Starring the BSC. She didn't even want a speaking role, and was petrified at the thought of anything big. She just wanted to be involved in some small way and nothing more. To suddenly have big dreams of acting is yet another continuity error in this series.
How the hell did Claudia not feel someone writing 13 letters on her back?
Anna and Abby. In kids' fiction, the less alike a couple characters look (Mal & Jessi, Claud & Stacey), the more alike on the inside they're supposed to be. The more alike on the outside (every set of twins in this series, and let's toss in the Wakefield twins just because they were the other big thing while BSC was going on), the less alike on the inside. Also there is no such thing as dizygotic/fraternal twins because of reasons.
I really think Claudia is an undiagnosed dyslexic. But aside from that, I think math and science needs to be put in real-world context instead of giving meaningless problems. I learned both well only because I was a math and science geek and so applied what I learned right away. If math could be taught with architecture or something, I think more kids would be interested, and they'd see how it can be used

. I’m imagining Stacey directing a certain kind of movie starring her and Ethan that won’t be released to the general public. Or maybe it might be--LOL
