I'm honestly surprised Mary Anne isn't crying the whole time she has to take the real babies for a walk. lol, I can only imagine walking down the street crying because you're not taking enough time up with your egg baby.

I loved this book series so much when I was a kid. I couldn't wait to get spending money so I could go off and buy a BSC book. Looking at the series as an adult, I honestly have to wonder if all the writers weren't on crack for writing some of the stuff they wrote.

so Mary Anne tearfully announces that Logan is “hogging” Sammie,--omg lol

but then MA would forget to feed her “baby” because she’d be too focused on everyone’s boobs.--LOL!

Anyway, MA gives us some backstory on the Kristy/Alan feud and describes the marriage as “unfortunate,” saying Kristy “had a cow.”--I still don't see the big deal. I'd probably be in a panic at working with Alan once they fucked his character up and turned him into a bully but I would've loved working with Alan #1 ( ... )

For Rose, a white ruffled dress with matching panties
Wow, the word "panties" has evolved. These days I really do not ever want to see "panties" used in the context of a baby.

I am going to be reading booju_newju for the rest of the evening. This is not a bad thing.

Can we get King Solomon in here to make a frittata or something?
HA.

LOL, I actually use to comment at the booj once in awhile during a stretch when I was REALLY bored at work. (when I checked the link it still listed me as a member!) There were a few people there who seemed very awesome, and a few people. . .wow.

This book truly baffled me when I read it as a kid. I honestly wasn't sure what to think. I knew that I was supposed to be on the side of the BSC members and interpret them as being responsible parents taking their duties seriously, but I really couldn't get past the "...but it's an EGG!" reaction. It was a bit of a traumatic time.

Oh, that was as good as one of 3_foot_6's snarks. I laughed the whole way through it, and not just because of the ludicrous egg situation.
