This whole thing is pure genius, and I want to make out with it. I mean, someone (something?) should be getting some, right?

Thanks!

Your icon makes me want to write an intensely-felt letter to Jordan.

Even though he, as you may know, cannot read.

He also thinks that there's men in the mountains who...make snow. But he's sooo pretty, so I'm willing to forget those small details.

That Ralph joke ... the only thing I can think of is that Bart called Linny by some random name because he "couldn't see him" because he needs an eye exam. (Does that even make sense?!)

That makes a lot of sense.

I guess I always assumed it was a weird reference to something. You can never tell with that crafty Peter Lerangis.

Ditto. Honestly, I had to skim through most of this book as a kid because all the make out scenes were so!awkward. And I can't bring myself to re-read it.

I thought it was supposed to be a REALLY dumb play on words, but I'm a pun weirdo, so who knows? You know, "I don't ralph!" Barf! Vomit! Ha ha! :P

Grade A snark. Well done! I never read this far into the series but it took this long for Kristy and Bart to start hooking up? Jesus. Kristy is one frigid bitch. Then again- it sucks when someone is a shitty kisser and I'd probably be all "we'd make better friends!" too.

I'm not so sure Bart was a shitty kisser. The feeling I got was that Kristy was completely unresponsive, and when you try to kiss someone who isn't kissing back you definitely get that whole "jamming my lips against my teeth" feeling Kristy complained about. In which case, it's not poor Bart's fault. Meh. He deserves better than Kristy anyway.

Thanks! Yeah, any book past the Dawn era is too new school for me. I prefer them as painfully out-of-date as possible.

Why was Kristy so unwilling to be Bart's girlfriend? He always sounded like such a nice guy.

She's a giant lesbian? We just don't know.

Maybe she's just sick of all the "OoooOooOoooOoooOh it's your BOYfriend!" taunts from David Michael and Karen lol.

IRL, I think it'd be because 13 is such a weird age...part of you thinks about boys, wants to be grown-up and have a boyfriend...you may even like a certain boy and want to be around him...but part of you is still weirded out by the whole concept, esp. if people tease you even a tiny bit...

This is first class snark. Great job!

I was a huge Kristy and Bart shipper so this book always made me a little sad.
