Wait, how is it progress to move back to working with crayons? I mean, yes, there are some techniques that involve creative use of crayons, but why not mention a stage with pastels or watercolors?

I get the sudden feeling that I am somehow better than Claudia at art despite the fact that I rarely attempt anything more than doodling.

Also it says 'silky pink' which to me sounds like it's not actual silk, so less crazy than it first appears.

Yeah, didn't they make a video for her? I remember there being zorbs. Hell, if the zorbs didn't get Dawn back to Stoneybrook, I doubt some photos of other people's dogs will make much of a difference.

Re Janine and the Fork:
1. Holy CRAP, editors. Inconsistency from book to book is one thing, but in the same fucking PARAGRAPH?!
2. Homegirl should think herself lucky that I'm not her nerdy sister, because I don't take kindly to surprise photos at the best of times, let alone while I'm eating. If it'd been me, Claudia and her camera would have been the laughingstock of the Stoneybrook Hospital Emergency Room.
3. Claudia probably just refused to eat the shredded wheats because they sounded too ~healthy~. And because the grape jelly tastes like the sweet, sweet purple stuff K. Ron gives them to drink at BSC meetings.

Mary Anne apparently later tells Claudia that Mrs. Barrett’s white dress made her think of weddings and so she had a tear in her eye as she watched them leave.
