What KILLS me about those contrived notebook premises in the Super Specials is that they're so UNNECESSARY! I mean, Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult is told from multiple POVs and that doesn't open with:

Well, in the prologue Kristy says all the members wrote down what happened to them and handed it in to Kristy who compiled their accounts together to make this Super Special. So if Kristy's talking about a snowstorm of white carnations in this Super Special, that means she must have written that down and put it in the Snowbound notebook for all the rest of the BSC to read. I'm trying to work out what's more OOC, that or her cancelling a meeting.
Also I love your comments, you write a lot of really thought-provoking stuff.
Kristy never came off as a tomboy to me, more asexual. Her "I never though I'd have a boyfriend because I'm a tomboy" line should be. I really only want one night with this guy and I sure hope he doesn't call me the next day. Yes Kristy, like any teenage boy you should want sex without the relationship. But I guess if she's a lesbian... I do feel bad for her future girlfriend, I can't imagine how controlling that relationship would be.
And lol at wanting a newspaper to publish her story. The sad thing is, I bet everyone in Stoneybrook would eat it up.
I think I may have been the one that said Mal looked like Napoleon Dynamite; however, I remember many other people saying that this was the cover that led them to believe Mary Anne was Hispanic (although she looks more Italian to me.)
