Okay, what I'm wondering is why Andrew didn't at least get the goldfish. I mean, the guy supposedly turned the penny into a goldfish, why not give him the penny in its new form?

I mean, he can't expect to reuse that fish in too many shows before the trick is ruined by pulling out a belly-up goldfish. Seems like it'd be more efficient to give it to the volunteer and thus have one less thing to pack up at the end of the show.
