Recap of #1 Kristy's Great Idea!

Inspired somewhat by the rest of you and by the 1bruce1 community, I have had a go at a recap. I've only gone up to chapter 4, so I'll do the next 4 chapters later! It's not as good as the rest of you, but I tried!

aww the first book brings back such good memories! Before the club turned super crazy and cultish! Pretty realistic too, 12 year old me totally wouldnt have jumped at the opportunity to babysit for my mother's boyfriend's kids!

I realize you probably didn't mean any harm, so don't feel bad, but "dyke" is actually a fairly offensive term. Do you mind editing? I realize snark isn't supposed to be polite, but this crosses a line.

Again, I realize you probably weren't trying to offend anyone, so no hard feelings - just bear that in mind in the future. :)

It’s 6.10, MA in true Cinderella style is late and has to go! They arrange to meet at recess tomorrow.

And recess? In middle school? Really? I guess some middle schools might have recess, but mine certainly didn't...

gosh, I remember the first time I read this book. I was six years old and I thought a hundred word essay sounded like the longest and most difficult thing in the entire world.

I am so glad you snarked the UK cover because it's awfulness shows no bounds. You're flattering Stacey by saying she looks 10 though! Mary Anne does indeed look like a clown. Our logo is stupid.

*ducks* I actually prefer our logo. I just can't get used to the US one - I used to think it was (just) because it looks cheesy and dated, but I think it's really because I'm so used to the British one that I can't handle anything else.
