After getting report on the 2 patients I would be working with today, I started to make myself a little booklet of the patient printouts/summaries of the patients orders, meds, etc. As a reminder for which patient is which, I write the patient's room number and initials on the bottom of the first page of their printout.

awesome! and homg- as you said, i dont think this is against hippa lol- BUT (i work in medical records) there was a CARTER and a RICHARDSON the other day, right next to each other in my files. I smiled at the files appreciatingly.
