I was really not expecting to get either of those songs at ALL, but I love them such an unhealthy amount, I felt SPOILED.

RIGHT? EXACTLY. The whole set list was just SO AMAZING, but Ball and Biscuit, man, I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING AND IT KIND OF MADE MY LIFE. *___* I still feel destroyed too! AGH. this recap is SO WONDERFUL, as usual. wendy and i were talking in the car on the way home this week about how you should be at EVERY CONCERT we go to (she says you two are destined to be friends, BTW, and I AGREE), and IT'S TRUE. i never remember things quite so well until you recount them for me, and reading something like this makes me feel as if i was THERE.

I am REALLY REALLY glad we got the Peacocks, too. I mean, Daru Jones is amazing AND Los Buzzardos have a harmonica-player, which is excellent, but it's difficult to beat a stage full of spectacular ladies AND Jack White. <33333

Like I was saying to Desfinado, I started doing these concert reports because it was fun, and an interesting writing challenge, and I wanted to be able to remember what happened, but I didn't think anyone else would give a shit, so. It's awesome that other people DO care, and that it can be a kind of service for them, even! <3 (And I am TOTALLY ready to be friends with Wendy, OF COURSE--she's awesome!)
