Posting because I can! YES. Oh! And because there is actually stuff on the Headstones' website now! Not much NEW stuff, just some adorable pictures, as well as (old) music and videos, but I guess Hugh mentioned on Facebook that they're working on some new stuff, so OMG OMGOMGGGGG. Plus it is just kind of amazing that there is actually a HEADSTONES

I have nothing to add except i saw a bunch of the videos from Comic-Con (there were at least three different panels i would've loved to see).

I'm oddly interested, what happened w/the Dan Dio fail? (and that's one thing that's hard for me to get into comics about. everything changes so much. FYI I don't think it's DC but I *did* finally see Capt. America on Monday. REALLY good movie)

So funny but every time i'm at Target lately I think of you. They have a really nice set of 4 DC Comic character drinking glasses for sale XD

Wow..DiDio seems really to be a bit of a, oh what's the word I'm looking for??? oh yes, a bit of a jackass . I hate when creators of things (shows/comics/etc) look down on their audiences. I understand it's their baby and all that but that doesn't entitle you to talk down to the people that actually ENJOY your stuff.

Are you going to see The Dark Knight Rises? IDK if I'll like it as much as TDK but at least they'll handle Bane's character better in this film than he was in Batman & Robin, so that's an improvement. :D

I don't know whether you are talking about any regular GM run, but with All Star Superman - just. read. it.

I'm not sure we are on the same comic geekery (global) frequency and I am so far out of the loop on anything recently (like the last five years and the DC reboot is just "wha--?!". And then I have to reboot my brain). I think we've had this conversation before - but the best way I can describe it is that it gives up on trying to rationalise/retcon all those years of super-pets and super-pals and super-lame somehow recreates the warm happy feeling that has been missing for too long. And it asks all sorts of smart questions about what "super" actually means... *flail*

Oh, interesting! I was just ogling that in the bookstore the other day, actually. And Frank Quitely did the art, right? I love him. I do NOT associate Grant Morrison with "warm happy feelings" at ALL (which is not a slam in any way, just that I associate him more with "dark and/or disturbing"), so I am very curious now! I'll check it out. Thank you! :)
