They don't interact! I was waiting for them to, because I knew you shipped them! And yet. Denied. That movie needed moar Nightwing, FOR SURE. He's such a nice counterpoint to the Bat!angst. (Not that Nightwing doesn't have angst of his own, but. He has a much more prevalent sense of humor. Which I dig.)

Also, to jump threads, I have been thinking and thinking about how best to describe the difference between animated series Starfire and comics!Starfire (I'm sure you have stopped caring about this, but I have gotten sort of caught up in how to quantify it) and the best I can come up with is that while animated!Starfire is primarily defined to me by her sweetness (not that she can't be fierce/badass, just that she is usually extremely sweet), comics!Starfire is a lot more... terrible, in the biblical sense. Like, glorious in a kind of scary way. So, yeah. Very different vibe, though they're still recognizably the same character.

It TOTALLY needed more Nightwing! I just latched onto how admiring he sounds when they're watching the film of Red Hood's escape. "Your boy's got moves," he says and I was like, "dude, they should totally do it!" Possibly all the stuff about how Jason can never live up to being Dick, which is what he thinks Bruce wanted from him, and how Dick had to deal with being replaced when Jason became Robin, etc. also influenced my thought process. *g* Angsty quarreling brothers with daddy issues ftw!

Oh, interesting. I know that for the cartoon they left a lot out of her origin story while still conveying the gist of it (apparently necessary since it was for 7-10 yos), but since I haven't read the comics, all I know is what other people tell me (and what I find on wikipedia *snerk*).

YES. Wikipedia and comics are a lolarious mix. I mean, most "genre" plots sound ridiculous when you describe them, but this is is a whole new level.

Yes! Angela was with a woman for a while. GO CANON BISEXUALITY. But she and Hodgins hooked up in... S2, I think? And they were going to get married but then there were some shenanigans, and eventually they broke up around early S4, I think (for completely nonsensical non-reasons) (and that was when Angela got back together with her ex-girlfriend) and they just got back together at the end of last season and got MARRIED and now they're going to HAVE A BABY and it's all very d'awwwwww-inducing. Um. For me.

I think they do video the rockaroake. But NO ONE SHALL SEE IT, in my case!

Honestly, Hodgins loving Angela so much was what really sold me on his character. (Well, that and the episode where he and Brennan get buried alive--he's FANTASTIC in that episode.) He's got his flaws, but he's got a really good heart!
