Okay, so like I said, I got my backordered MWK CDs (Judging a Bullet and Midwest Kings) the other day, and for one thing, they are very pretty and shiny and they are back in stock at CDBaby and I highly recommend them. HOWEVER, the reason I am here today is that the liner notes for JaB are so freaking adorable I actually had trouble breathing. NO

I do NOT understand how people find Neal threatening. I mean, musically badass, yes, smokin' hot, yes, intimidating because of these things, yes. But, like, gruff and threatening? COME ON. HE IS A GIANT PUPPYDOG. Which, I mean, not that he's incapable of biting-the couple of times I've seen him smack down presumptuous people online have been AWESOME-but in general? MADE OF KITTENS. YEAH I SAID IT. BUT IT'S TRUE.

THIS.....Do you know how many times I've screamed, OUT LOUD, mind you, at my computer when I've read people online commenting that Neal is "scary looking" and so on? A LOT.....It's kinda scary.

And yeah, I feel pretty strongly about financially supporting the artists I like, where I can. It's half the reason I pimp some of these guys so hard in my LJ--a lot of the musicians I love most aren't nearly as famous as I feel like they should be (my brother included, in fact!), so yeah. I try to put my money where my love is! Um, in a non-prostitution kind of way. Hee. Plus: hard copies are SHINY. *pets them*

And I have always wanted to be left-handed! Like it would make me COOLER or something. Heee. Mr. McK is a lefty; I am jealous. *g*

I just wish when it comes to the hard copies, the MWK guys would've considered packaging some of the albums in the regular jewel cases (though I totally understand why. It's probably cheaper to put it in those little slim cardboard things). I was going through my cd's about a month ago and totally thought I'd lost my copy of Incoherent With Desire To Move On *small heart attack*

Ehh, It's ok for the most part. Except for using scissors (we had special ones marked "lefty" when I was in school) and going out to eat. I always had to sit next to my dad so we wouldn't bump elbows. LOL.

HEE. Me too! And I have also been in a near-constant state of Neal/Kira flail over the past few days. THEY ARE SO CUUUUUTE.

It would be nice to have a jewel case for Incoherent, though I suppose that's the deal with LPs. :) I am also madly jealous of the people who are gonna get hard copies of Luna Despierta--again, PLEASE TOUR SOMEWHERE NEAR ME, YOU GUYS.

And HEE. Mr. McK has similar scissors trauma! And yes, we have learned to coordinate dining seating arrangements so as to prevent bumping as much as possible. :) His brother and his dad are also left-handed, so that helps when we're at his parents' house, anyway. :)

The fancy school rumor is true. Both Andy and Neal went to high school at Holland Hall, a private school in Tulsa.

I bet they wore uniforms-- I need pics of teen Andy and Neal in school uniforms, stat! lol
