I have a couple of plaid-clad gentlemen I'm admiring these days, and they are both (former) American Idol boys. What is my life?! But they're so AAAAAWESOME. *bounces*

ALSO. In the grocery store today, we noticed that Rogue Ale (an Oregon brewery) is making a Nor'wester Ale! With Captain Sig on the bottle! Mr. McK actually noticed it ("Hey, that's the guy from Deadliest Catch!"), and I of course immediately thought of you, and calculated how likely it was that I would REMEMBER I had purchased said beer for you if I couldn't deliver it till next spring. (Not likely, sadly. Hee. But if you want me to snag some for any reason, I would be happy to!)

I think Fruity Bunnies is the greatest cereal name ever. We've been compulsively saying "fruity bunnies" to each other since we bought the stuff this weekend. (And yes, it is very manly! I will not be partaking, since cereals like that make me ill. But I'm glad he's inspired to song about them. Heee.)

Sources indicate that we get new Bones as of Sept 17th. And that it does not conflict with SPN! (though it's the ONE night I am completely overbooked on - Bones, Fringe, Vampire Diaries- I know, I know, but it's CANON, and I find myself helpless to resist - and Supernatural)

Perhaps we need a David Cook, HCL but happily ever after AU in which there are tour buses and lots of flannel and homoerotic guitar duets and very little angst. David's twitter did say something about Canadian tour dates, after all....

Oooh, thank you! Though, dude, Thursdays are going to suck for me, too, with SYTYCD results and The Office and SPN ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Oy. Good thing we have three TiVos! (Seriously, having SYTYCD on in the fall is REALLY INCONVENIENT. I love having it in the summer, when it's not such a big deal to devote three TV hours a week to it! Sigh.)

And HEE, I like this plan! (Also, I am thisclose to getting a Twitter, DAMMIT. STOP BEING ADORABLE ON TWITTER, PEOPLE, I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS.)

I'm going to have to start taking Fridays off work just to keep up. (Also, I am pretty sure, the new Project Runway! My DVD needs it's own DVR at this point). Though SYTYCD results shows tend to turn about 20 minutes long when we edit through the commercials/ stuff we watched last night/ them praising their own show/ sign wavings. So that's something?

Twitter is worth it just to watch Kris and Misha Collins attempt to outwhimsy each other. (My most common reaction to Kris's twitter: HOW IS HE EVEN REAL?!?!?!)

Also, updates on the continuing pool hall rivalry between Chris Kane and Tim Hutton, and Aldis randomly inviting us to rather hilariously nerdy music events.

And Kris is the #1 reason I'm really tempted to get a Twitter. Which is kind of ridiculous, since ontd_ai keeps me VERY up to date on his tweets, but... what if I want to say something to HIM? (Something besides "omg please marry me," I mean.) And he keeps randomly DMing people with ADORABLENESS! It is the cutest thing I have ever seen! He is just. He seriously CANNOT BE REAL.

And the Leverage folk are REALLY tempting, too. SIGH.
