Yes, I just drove to Portland and back in one day/night for the pleasure of seeing Kane live in concert, and yes, I have to get up in about four hours, and yes, IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT. Ten things of note, since I seem to be totally failing at actually completing concert reviews:

Me and my ancient Kane shirt are soooo jealous. Thanks for the awesome report, and more importantly, I'm glad you had such an awesome time!

You have an ancient Kane shirt, I am jealous of that! :) It was a really good time; I had a feeling they'd put on a great live show and they definitely delivered.

SO JEALOUS! Though I did get to see him perform many years ago at a con with David Boreanaz on stage with him so that saves you from being killed by me the next time I see you. ;)

HEE. I was surprised at how... not really into the audience banter Christian was? I mean, there was definitely some back-and-forth with the crowd (and he called somebody "baby," which was crazy hot), but he seemed just the slightest bit shy about the whole thing when he wasn't singing. It was REALLY endearing; for some reason I did not have him pegged for that at all. And it's really cool that Kane is not just some vanity project for him--they're GOOD. Which I basically knew, but it was nice to have it confirmed by the live show.

Bonus David Boreanaz would have been a definite plus, though. :) I feel very much the same "awww, I'm so glad your life is going so well!" affection for him that I feel for Christian, actually!

I seriously cannot tell you how adorable Beth was. She practically GLOWED. It was AWESOME.

THEY ARE SO AWESOME AND THEY MAKE ME SO HAPPY. *FLAILYHANDS* John Rogers is SO FREAKING CUTE, too, he was just BEAMING. <3333 My favorite thing about Leverage this season is that you can just SEE the love pouring off the screen, between all of them--IT IS THE GREATEST THING.
