Yes, I just drove to Portland and back in one day/night for the pleasure of seeing Kane live in concert, and yes, I have to get up in about four hours, and yes, IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT. Ten things of note, since I seem to be totally failing at actually completing concert reviews:

(Re: the next show: I'm pretty sure I'm going to have friends visiting that weekend, and since they'll be here for the big gaming con I don't think I can persuade them to a sudden trip to Portland. Hee. If for any reason that doesn't happen, though, I will be ALL OVER IT. And either way, I have already requested LOTS of pictures, okay? *g*)

IT WAS SO FUN, AND I KEPT WISHING YOU WERE THERE THE WHOLE TIME! They are SO adorable, I cannot even tell you. OMG YOU NEED TO COME VISIT SO WE CAN WATCH LEVERAGE AND SQUEEEEEE. (Also, at some point discussion of birthdays came up, since apparently Steve just had a birthday, and Chris felt the need to mention that it was Tim Hutton's birthday. Not that he was there or anything [that I saw], Chris just thought we, you know, NEEDED TO KNOW THAT. SO FREAKING CUTE OMG TEEEEEEEAM.)

Yeah, Gwyn mentioned that she had a friend going, but I didn't respond to the comment for a few days and then by the time I did, I think Gwyn was at VVC, so I never got the contact info (since Gwyn only mentioned her real name and not any online name). :( I feel bad, we totally would've loved to have had her company!
